Author(s): Eirlys Hunter
When four children temporarily lose their parents just as they are about to begin the race that offers a chance of escaping poverty, they go it alone and learn a lot about themselves — and the adult world — in the process. Come and hear Eirlys talk about this wonderful book.
Eirlys Hunter has worked behind a bar, as a primary school teacher, cleaning a cliff-top fort, sorting mail, and sending sand to Saudi Arabia. She has written children’s books and teaches writing for children.
Eirlys will be in conversation with her editor Jude Watson.
NB: This session will run concurrently with Paula Morris (in a different room).
