Author Biography: Peter Sis journeyed to Martinique, the inspiration for the island where Robinson Crusoe was marooned, to research the flora and fauna for this book. When he isn't travelling the globe, he creates books and fine art that can be seen in galleries, museums and public spaces around the world.
